When Guddu meets an 11-year-old orphan, Badri, the two of them escape to the forest. Here they meet a group of activists led by Sathi.
Sathi takes Guddu to a hillock where the village Bholi lives, and he sees the orphanage there. Guddu asks Sathi if he can look after the orphanage. After consulting with Bholi, Sathi agrees to let Guddu take over the orphanage. Guddu, though flattered, goes back to Bombay to help in his grandmother's business, leaving the orphanage in Sathi's hands.
A few days later, Bholi's grandmother gets into a car accident, and she dies in hospital. Bholi is left in the care of Guddu and Badri. Their next task is to find a way for Badri to meet his father, who had left him as an infant. In the end, they manage to find the father, and Badri meets his father and adopts the son.
